I am a solo practitioner, have practiced family law for almost thirty (30) years , and was awarded an AV rating by Martindale Hubbell. I am a member of the bars of the States of California, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. In 1986, I was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court. During my career, I have been a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Baltimore County Bar Association, the Baltimore City Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Women's Bar Association of Maryland. I was active in the family law sections of the Baltimore County and City Bar Associations. I also received appointments to State Bar committees, including, but not limited to, the Special Committee on Alternate Dispute Resolution, Liaison Officer from the Litigation Section to the Alternate Dispute Resolution Committee, and Vice-Chairperson of the Fee Arbitration Committee for the Baltimore City Bar Association. For many years, I was also a member of the Inquiry Panel of the Attorney Grievance Commission of the State of Maryland, and in that capacity, I was frequently the Chairperson for the panels on which I served and received a commendation for distinguished service. I continue to maintain my membership with the Baltimore County Bar Association, as well as the American Bar Association.
Subsequent to my admission to the State Bar of California in 1990, I have been a member of various bar associations and legal organizations, including, but not limited to, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, for which I serve as a fee arbitrator and panel chair, the Family Law Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the Beverly Hills Bar Association Family Law Section, the Complex Westside Litigation Inn of Court, now known as the Southern California Business Litigation Inn of Court, on which I have served for many years as an executive board member, program chair, reporter, team leader, and National Liaison Officer to the American Inns
